CARBON FOOTPRINT & ENVIRONMENTAL INVOLVEMENT

Alien eradication & tree planting
At Coral Tree Cottages we have an on-going alien eradication programme in place. We are continually removing aliens and re-planting indigenous trees.
Many areas that have been cleared have come back to life with a variety of "fynbos" and yellowwood trees coming up on their own.

Permaculture - "Worm" farming
We encourage our guests to get involved in our "worm" farming. Each cottage has a bucket for kitchen waste. The children love getting involved.


Re-cycling
We have a re-cycling programme in place and our guests are encouraged to participate. Paper, tins & glass are separated by our staff and taken to the local depot.
